Taunton to welcome first Gin, Fizz & Food Festival this June
Taunton is set to welcome its first-ever Gin, Fizz & Food Festival this June.
Taking place at the 17th century country house Woodlands Castle on June 2, the festival will celebrate local gins, sparkling wines and South West food producers.
Attendees
Attendees will be able to sample Wicked Wolf Exmoor Gin, Exeter Gin, and Granny Garbutt’s Gin; Dartmoor Spirit Craft Distillery’s Ten Tor Seasonal Gin; and raspberry flavoured national favourite, Pinkster Gin.
Devon-based Wellhayes Vineyard will be the guest fizz supplier showcasing their very own English sparkling wine.
The event will feature master classes on how to cook with gin and how to make the perfect Pinkster Cocktail.
Several talks are also scheduled, teaching those newer to the gin world how to pair food and drink and how to choose the right gin for you.
Adult tickets are on sale now for £5.00 and can be purchased in advance
Children will be offered free entry as part of a family.
